About Marcie Johnson

Marcie Johnson, Attorney, joined the firm in 2005. She specializes in probate, trust administration and guardianship and works closely with clients to implement estate plans.

Ms. Johnson graduated from Texas Tech School of Law in 2005. She received her bachelor degree from the University of Texas in 2000, graduating with honors and majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish. Ms. Johnson is a VA accredited attorney and an active member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. She serves as a Fellow of the DAYL Foundation and has been a Committee Co-Chair of both the Aid to the Homeless Committee and the Social Committee. Ms. Johnson was selected to serve on the 2006-2007 DAYL Leadership Class which organized a massive community project to beautify DISD schools. She also volunteers as a mentor to Dallas ISD high school students with ambitions of entering the legal field. Ms. Johnson served as attorney advisor for her undergraduate sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda. In addition, she has received state certification in mediation and alternate dispute resolution. She serves regularly as an Attorney/Guardian ad Litem for Collin County.

In her spare time, Ms. Johnson enjoys music, camping, hiking, water skiing, and interior decorating.
